Interview of a young author Himanshika Sharma

Hello friends, welcome again in a new interview session with a new and young author Himanshika Sharma. Before starting the interview let’s read what Himanshika wants to say before we start in her quote…

1. Tell us something about yourself.

I hail from Ambala City. I have lately completed my graduation in economics. Currently, I am working as a freelance content writer and a reviewer.

2. What is writing for you?

Writing for me is a way of showing emotions that couldn’t find voice. If I feel dejected, if I feel happy, if I feel inspiring, if I feel turmoil within me – no matter what the emotion I feel – I express it through words.

3. Did you always want to be a writer?

No! Not even in my dreams had I thought of becoming a writer. It just happened all of a sudden.

4. Who is your biggest influence?

The people around me who write so exceptionally well. They influence me to run the horses of my mind and create something up to the mark.

5. What kind of publishing you would prefer for other self-publishing, traditional or vanity publishing?

I would prefer traditional publishing anytime over any form of publishing.

6. Anything about “Love beyond Words”?

The story revolves around a handicap girl, Kriti and a suave boy, Kunal. It shows their eternal love for each other and how they face vicissitudes of their lives. It has a tinge of inspiration and a whole lot of romance.


7. What is Literature for you? Meaning and importance.

Literature is a form of art that stands tall and up as compared to other forms. Literature holds up so people’s imagination in its heart. No matter what you are going through, diving in someone else’s imagination is always soothing. Even if a person who is unable to walk can fly high by exploring the imaginations that literature provides.

8. What are your other interests besides writing?

Singing! Although, I am not a very good singer but I like humming to the tunes and singing a song or two for myself in solitude.

9. Are you planning to come up with more books?

Yes, of course! I am currently working on my second book and I am planning to launch it soon.
